Change is a little word with a big meaning and all of us encounter it many times through life. Since Covid 19 the whole world is experiencing disruption and change to our personal, home and work lives.

This seminar explains the psychological process we follow when change arrives,  often like an unwelcome visitor.  It helps to make sense of the array of emotions we encounter and normalise them.  We will explore the concept of transition, where we are in the process and how to respond effectively and more quickly to the new reality.

Following the seminar participants will:

  • Have an understanding of change and transition
  • Be able to make sense of their emotional journey
  • Be open to the possibilities

Finding our New Identity in Response to Change

Big change can have big impact – even on our very identity

Our resilience is an important tool in our armoury to help us get through the challenges and disruptions in our personal and work life. It is also recognised as one of the four key components of wellbeing.

Life doesn’t always go smoothly but as humans we have an amazing capacity to draw on our inner resources and deal effectively with issues and situations that arise, while also protecting our wellbeing. We call this our resilience. As with many things, we don’t realise our full potential in this area. This seminar will explore where our resilience comes from and how we can maximise it. We will look at the factors that promote resilience, examine our own resilience and learn tools and strategies to make it work hard for us.

Following the seminar participants will:

  • Have an understanding of resilience – where it comes from and how it works
  • Be able to consciously choose their response in the face of adversity
  • Have completed an exercise to assess their own resilience
  • Know what areas they would like to focus on to build greater resilience and take the first step.

An introduction on how to access your own psychological wellbeing with ease

This seminar will introduce us to evidence based thinking and concepts which will help us to understand how our mind works and show us how to access our own well-being using a gentle mindful approach.
